These are good to use with the simple survey activities available on the Data Collection and Analysis page. Younger students can be introduced gradually to making their own graph that represents the information they have collected in a visual chart.

Yacht Race (ordinal numbers 1st-5th)	Car Race (ordinal numbers 1st-5th)

Medals - 1st - 24th place (ordinal number) Copy onto coloured card and thread with string to make medals students can wear. Students rearrange themselves into order in a line or circle.	Trophies -1st -36th place (ordinal number) Copy onto coloured card. Use in a display with drawings or with names (as each child arrives at school, they put their name beside the appropriate trophy).
