Have you seen Smartkiddies?
 Smartkiddies Mathematics
This wonderful online maths resource is free to all Australian teachers and schools. The website includes interactive activities, assessments, printable worksheets, challenges and lessons that can be viewed by students learning new concepts. I've been using Smartkiddies to compliment my classroom maths program with Prep children. I plan for all students to work for 20 minutes each week on the activities I have selected for their group. It's very motivating and I can see fantastic results with individuals. It's also great to use when demonstrating concepts on the electronic white board! (I am in no way connected with Smartkiddies. I just think it's so great that everyone should know about it.) Kids can also access 2 activities each day from home, (without any cost), so you may find your parents are interested too.

Booklet templates for guided reading (15 new booklets with simple vocabulary for beginning readers at levels 1-4)

The web program I'm using doesn't seem to find the errors, and I've only discovered them when I try to download resources myself.

Single Membership for institutions (schools, early learning centres, teacher training institutions): 12 months for $30 (special conditions apply for each)
Conditions of Membership Use:
- Individual membership allows the individual user the right to save and print pdf documents, for unlimited use with students in their classroom.
- School membership allows one user to produce enough materials for one class or group of students with special needs per year (even after membership expires, as documents should be saved and printed for use in the future). Schools with individual memberships may produce one copy of each game or resource to be used anywhere within the school. One master copy of each worksheet may be printed and kept in a shared hard-copy file for use with groups of students. Institutions interested in providing membership access to more than one member of staff are invited to contact The Classroom Kit to receive a special offer for multiple memberships.
- Early Learning Centres (child-care centres and kindergartens with children up to the age of 5) may make mulitple copies of relevant resources (including numeral recognition and counting games and activities; letter activities and games), due to the limited access required (excludes the resources more suitable for school-aged children).
- Teacher training institutions with an individual membership may produce one copy of each game or resource which can be used in a sample resource kit and borrowed by student teachers for use with groups of students. Student teachers interested in accessing a special group offer, can request that their training institution contact The Classroom Kit for details.

My literacy and numeracy games can be used in many ways. Do any of these sound useful to you?
- to teach groups of students that have particular needs (each game is a lesson in itself)

Membership is $30 for 12 months access to great games and worksheets. (Already there are many more resources here than in any teacher reference book that would cost twice as much or more!) Save them to your computer to use them at any time in the future with any class group. Print them and keep hard copies to refer to if you wish. Most games are best printed in colour on card, and then laminated to extend their life. If you have access to a colour photo copier, some games may be useful enlarged to A3 size.

I have an Ebay Store where some of the games on The Classroom Kit are available in smaller kits on a cd. Buyers still need to print, laminate and cut the games, or if you're using the games with just your own family, print them onto sturdy cartridge or card without laminating. All resources will be placed on the website first, so if you have a membership, there's nothing new.
