Free Reading Games and Games with Phonics

These free reading games are available for non-members to download and use. Many more are available to members, and these support the concepts of phonemic understandings, consonant-vowel-consonant words, sight words, rhyming words, word families, and sentences. The games are colourful, easy to play, and practical to use in the classroom with a whole class or small group. I recommend building a collection of reading games and making a time every day for students to enjoy and learn with them.

Free literacy games to print and use in your classroom

Game Instructions: Print games in colour if possible, or onto coloured card if a colour printer is unavailable. Laminate to extend the life of your game, and cut out pieces. Store with the game instructions in bags, boxes or other containers.
